  • The Chronicle I Study is a research initiative for people living with complex chronic conditions. By contributing samples, wearable data, and health insights, participants help build a powerful dataset that could lead to improved diagnostics, targeted treatment, and future research for neuroimmune disorders.

  • Anyone can join the Chronicle I Study by signing up through our research platform, Chronicle Connect. You can contribute information, find out about research studies, and get notified of clinical trials. If your clinic is part of our research network, your provider may offer you the chance to participate during a standard visit. On-site participation typically involves giving a small blood sample and answering a few short questions. It’s fast, safe, and voluntary. Our list of participating clinics is below.

  • Our studies are designed with patient safety, privacy, and ethics at the core. All procedures are reviewed by independent ethics boards (IRBs), and you can opt out at any time without affecting your care. Clinical trials are carefully designed, ethically reviewed, and closely monitored to prioritize patient safety while advancing medical research.

  • Yes. Your participation is completely voluntary, and you can choose to opt out at any time. You can also review your consent form in your Chronicle Connect account.

  • If you’re a patient at or live near a ChronicleBio site listed in our partner network below, work with their scheduling team to stop by for a research lab appointment. Just mention ChronicleBio! You can give a cheek swab, blood and urine. Sample collection is quick! Once collected, your sample is safely and securely sent off for storage in our biobank.

    If you don’t live near a ChronicleBio site or can’t make it in to a clinic, keep an eye out for mail-in collection options. We occasionally run decentralized studies offering kits sent to you that can be completed at home and shipped back. We’ll notify you via Chronicle Connect when these studies are available.
