Rohit Gupta is Co-Founder and CEO of ChronicleBio, where he leads the company's scientific and strategic direction. A recognized global expert in biobanking, he was a Founding Member and Executive Director of the Stanford Biobank where he also led the Human Immune Monitoring Center Biobank and the Clinical and Translational Research Unit. He has held executive roles in industry, including Chief Biobank Officer at TMRW Life Sciences and Chief Medical Officer at Spectrum Solutions. Shaped in part by his family's experience with neuroimmune disorders, he is personally motivated to give people with chronic, underserved conditions the research infrastructure their diseases have long lacked.

As Co-Founder and Board Member, Fidji Simo sets the vision for how artificial intelligence and biology intersect on ChronicleBio’s mission to find treatments for complex chronic conditions. She is a technology executive, entrepreneur, and investor who has spent her career building and scaling products that impact billions of people. She most recently served as CEO of AGI Deployment and board member at OpenAI, where she oversaw three-quarters of the company, spearheading the integration of AI into everyday life and work. Previously, she was CEO of Instacart, which she took public in 2023. Before Instacart, she spent a decade at Meta, where she led the Facebook app, one of the world’s largest consumer platforms. She currently serves on the boards of Shopify and Nscale and continues to advise OpenAI. She is also an active investor and advisor to founders building ambitious companies at the intersection of technology, AI, and life sciences. She holds a Master of Management from HEC Paris and has also been named to the TIME100 AI list, Fortune Most Powerful Women, Fortune’s 40 Under 40, Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business, CNBC Changemakers, 2024 Executive of the Year by San Francisco Business Times and more. 

Rishi Reddy is Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of ChronicleBio, where he supports the company's strategy and growth. He is a Managing Director at Tarsadia Investments, where he leads the venture and growth equity strategy across healthtech and fintech. Rishi has led Tarsadia's investments in companies including Fathom, Chronus Health, AvantStay, and PhilRx, and serves on each of their boards. Before Tarsadia, he was the founder and CEO of DigiPath Solutions, an early innovator in digital anatomic pathology. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Management from Babson College. Rishi has navigated his own journey with chronic illness and is committed to building ChronicleBio into a durable company that brings long-overdue treatments to people living with similar conditions.

John Mumm, Ph.D., is Chief Scientific Officer at ChronicleBio, where he applies more than 30 years of immunology and drug development experience to chronic inflammatory disease. A serial founder, he started ARMO BioSciences, which was later acquired by Eli Lilly for $1.6 billion after he helped develop and manufacture its first-in-class pegylated IL-10 immunotherapy. As Founder and CEO of Deka Biosciences, he raised $78 million and took the company from inception to FDA clearance of a Phase 1 trial within 18 months of its Series A. John holds graduate degrees from Stanford University and the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He has conducted postdoctoral work at DNAX Research Institute, authored nearly 30 peer-reviewed papers, and is an inventor on nearly 50 granted patents with 24 as sole author. His earlier career spans research and leadership roles at Merck, Schering-Plough, and MedImmune. At ChronicleBio, John brings deep cytokine and chemokine expertise to conditions in which dysregulated immune signaling sits at the core of disease.

Yambazi Banda, D.Phil. (Oxon) is the Founding Scientist and Head of Platform at ChronicleBio. Yambazi leads the scientific strategy for data-driven discovery, technology and data platform development, and biobank operations. Yambazi previously served as Executive Director at Spectrum Biobank, where he led efforts to improve health equity by increasing diversity in genetic data. He was also previously the Director of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at Ambys Medicines, a company developing cell and gene therapies for end-stage liver disease. During his time at Ancestry, he focused on improvement of algorithms used for phenotypic predictions in diverse populations and led analyses supporting FDA 510(k) submissions. As a Rhodes Scholar, Yambazi obtained his D.Phil. in Particle Physics from the University of Oxford and completed a Postdoc in Population Genetics at UCSF. The combination of Yambazi's polymathy and commitment to inclusive data shapes how ChronicleBio turns patient samples into discoveries. He is dedicated to building a technology and data foundation that captures the full biological picture of people living with complex chronic conditions.

Summer Dashe is Head of Marketing and Communications at ChronicleBio, where she leads the company's participant engagement, corporate narrative, brand, and public relations. An Emmy Award-winning journalist and widely recognized patient advocate for people with complex chronic conditions, Summer brings a mix of professional excellence and personal experience to her work. Before joining ChronicleBio, she led visual communications for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge Office, building a multimedia content engine and launching its first public affairs show translating complex nuclear, environmental, and national security information into impactful storytelling. She previously spent a decade with ABC in television news and holds a B.A. in Convergence Journalism from Southern Methodist University. She has been honored nine times by the Radio Television Digital News Association for her anchoring and investigative reporting, is a three time state broadcasting award winner and has earned three Emmys plus five nominations. Through her online patient advocacy she reaches more than 130,000 followers across patient, caretaker, clinician, and research audiences. Summer leads recruitment campaigns, platform journey, and public launches ensuring the patient voice remains at the heart of ChronicleBio’s mission.

Rhondene Wint, Ph.D., is Senior Scientist, Bioinformatics at ChronicleBio, where she leads the architecture of the data foundation behind the company's Precision Medicine Platform. The multimodal omics platform drives biomarker and endotype discovery across chronic complex diseases, and Rhondene sets the quality standards and automated pipelines that make patient data reproducible and ready for analysis. Previously at Mammoth Biosciences, she built production-grade sequencing pipelines supporting eight or more preclinical projects and led statistical analyses that informed go/no-go decisions, including for IND-enabling studies. Earlier, at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the Joint Genome Institute, she analyzed hundreds of fungal genomes and developed Codon2Vec, a deep learning model published in Molecular Biology and Evolution. She holds a Ph.D. in Quantitative and Systems Biology from the University of California, Merced. Rhondene is driven to build tools that turn complex biological data into answers for patients.

Cortney Gensemer, Ph.D., is Principal Translational Scientist and Program Director at ChronicleBio, where she turns multi-omic, clinical, and patient-reported data into hypotheses that guide research and product strategy. Her doctoral and postdoctoral work at the Medical University of South Carolina focused on the genetic and molecular drivers of hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and she brings expertise in related multisystem conditions such as ME/CFS, dysautonomia, MCAS, and long COVID. She helped establish an IRB-approved genetic registry of more than 1,600 participants and contributed to more than 20 peer-reviewed publications. Her research has been supported by an NIH F32 postdoctoral fellowship, and she received the Ehlers-Danlos Society's Nancy Rogowski Advocacy Award in 2024. Through CortDoesScience, she reaches more than 80,000 followers with evidence-based science communication for patients, caregivers, clinicians, and researchers online. Having navigated complex chronic illness firsthand, Cortney is committed to making patients true partners in research.

Gnaumie-Monique Valle is Senior Biobank and Lab Manager at ChronicleBio, bringing more than seven years of biotech experience in laboratory operations, quality systems, and project management. As Lab Manager at ACD Bio-Techne, Gnaumie supported more than 100 client projects per quarter under GCLP, ISO, and clinical guidelines, cut project turnaround time by 20%, and maintained a 95% client retention rate. Earlier, as Senior Lab Lead at OptiScan Biomedical, Gnaumie led more than 300 quality control, validation, and verification protocols supporting FDA approval of a medical device and onboarded over 50 new team members. Gnaumie also served as a subject matter expert in more than 10 client audits and authored more than 20 SOPs. A graduate of San Francisco State University with a B.S. in Biochemistry, Gnaumie began in peptide synthesis R&D at CS Bio. Gnaumie is committed to building the operational foundation that lets great science move forward with confidence.

Christine Pavel is Participant Engagement Lead and Executive Assistant at ChronicleBio, where she is the first point of contact for the people who join the company's studies. She supports participants through every stage of the research journey. Working directly with executive and scientific leadership, she coordinates teams across science, IT, lab operations, marketing, and external partners to deliver time-sensitive milestones. Before joining ChronicleBio in 2025, she spent three years as a Project Manager for a medical clinic, directing clinical research operations and building the SOPs and training materials that supported compliance and onboarding. She builds scalable, compliant workflows for participant operations, kit logistics, digital platforms, and IRB-aligned processes. Through her interactions with patients and hearing their stories, Christine is driven by a deep belief in what ChronicleBio is working to accomplish for the millions of people living with complex chronic conditions.

Alyse Dowell, M.P.H., is a Clinical Research Coordinator at ChronicleBio’s Dallas site, where she supports participants and studies across the clinical research process. Since 2023, she has coordinated trials in infectious disease, hepatology, metabolic disease, and vaccine development. Her experience spans Phase 1 through Phase 4 studies at Baylor Research Institute and M3-Wake Research. She holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from Abilene Christian University and an M.P.H. from Texas Tech University Health Science Center, and she is pursuing a doctorate at A.T. Still University. Certified in GCP, human subjects protection, phlebotomy, IATA shipping, and Fibroscan, she helps ensure that participant care and data quality meet the highest standards. Alyse is committed to patient-centered research that moves care forward for complex conditions.

Emily SooHoo, M.S., is a Lab Technician at ChronicleBio, where Emily runs flow cytometry experiments and processes human blood samples for a biobank of patients with diverse autoimmune diseases. Before joining ChronicleBio, Emily spent two years in the Meyer Lab at Stanford University School of Medicine, supporting correlative and clinical research on CAR T cell trials for autoimmune disease, kidney transplant tolerance, and type 1 diabetes. Emily holds an M.S. in Biological Sciences from San Jose State University, where graduate research in C. elegans explored how synaptic connections form, with the goal of informing treatments for Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Emily has contributed to published research in Cell and JAMA Psychiatry and received the John and Betty Davison Fellowship and the Adrian Rodriguez Scholarship. Emily also taught introductory biology and physiology labs and speaks English and Mandarin Chinese. Careful sample handling is the foundation of any biobank, and Emily is dedicated to making every sample count for people joining the Chronicle Biobank.

Sanjana Santhosh, M.S., CCRP, is a Clinical Research Coordinator at ChronicleBio’s Menlo Park site, bringing hands-on experience coordinating early-phase clinical trials. Most recently a Research Associate II in Parexel's Early Phase Clinical Unit, Sanjana was promoted within five months and named Employee of the Month in August 2026. Sanjana coordinated several concurrent first-in-human and dose-escalation studies for multiple sponsors, obtaining informed consent, screening participants, and performing phlebotomy, ECGs, and pharmacokinetic sampling. Sanjana holds an M.S. in Biotechnology from Georgetown University and earned the Certified Clinical Research Professional credential from SOCRA in 2026. Earlier experience in Parexel's Cell and Gene Therapy Center of Excellence and a Georgetown research lab extends from post-marketing safety follow-up to vascular tissue engineering. Sanjana is committed to making sure every participant is informed, safe, and well supported.

Hadia Lemar is the Lab Director at ChronicleBio and an immunologist and biotech leader with 25 years of industry experience moving therapies from target discovery into clinical development. At Bristol-Myers Squibb and Medarex, Hadia contributed to the preclinical development of the immunotherapies Yervoy, Opdivo, and Opdualag and helped author IND and BLA filings. At Nkarta Therapeutics, Hadia led platform and process development for off-the-shelf CAR-NK cell therapies, translating clinical biomarker data into donor selection criteria. Hadia has also directed process development at Xcellbio, leading closed-system, GMP-ready manufacturing platforms for cell therapies, and is a named inventor on three US patents. Hadia holds a B.S. in Biology from Santa Clara University and mentors students through a high school biomedical academy. Hadia is committed to turning rigorous immunology into therapies that reach patients.
